In the four years since the last LIGNA Fair, Irish handling specialist Combilift has been busy introducing new models, sharpening technology, and expanding its global markets.

LIGNA 2023 coincided with the company’s 25th anniversary, which presented 16 exhibits ranging from small pedestrian 1000 kg capacity stackers to straddle carriers and mobile gantries which can lift loads of 100,000 kg or more.

Combilift used LIGNA to launch its new electric Combi-CB70E, a further addition to the company’s growing move to electric models.

The Combi-CB70E is an emissions-free, quiet machine that enables customers to reduce their carbon footprint and benefit from a new generation of electric handling equipment.

This mix of next-gen performance, extensive battery life, and exceptional ergonomics, combined with all the advantages of the Combi-CB range, makes this the most powerful compact electric multi-directional forklift on the market.

Martin McVicar, Combilift CEO, and co-founder, said: “We chose LIGNA as the platform for launching the Combi-CB70E due to its innate suitability for customers in the timber sector.

“We are confident that this model will be a popular addition to our portfolio for many other industry applications.”
